Where do we fish?+
Flamingo in Everglades National Park, the flats of Key Largo, and Biscayne Bay just outside Miami. Flamingo Marina is 38 miles into the park, so enjoy the wildlife on the ride in.
How many people can come?+
Up to 3 anglers on every trip. Fish with co-workers, friends or family.
Can I bring my kids?+
Yes! Kids and the whole family are welcome. I have kid-sized tackle that young anglers can easily use and still bring in the bigger fish, and as the father of two I have the patience it takes.
What will we catch?+
Tarpon, snook and redfish in the Everglades and backcountry, plus bonefish and permit on the Biscayne Bay flats. What we target depends on the season and where the fish are biting.
When is tarpon season?+
Around Miami it runs December through June, starting at Haulover Inlet and moving south to Government Cut. From March through July tarpon migrate along the edge of the Biscayne Bay flats toward the Keys.
What boat do you fish from?+
A Skeeter bay boat, set up for flats and backcountry fishing with room for a small group.
Do you provide the gear?+
Yes. Rods, reels and tackle are provided.
