I have fished from downtown Miami, Key Largo to Flamingo in the last couple weeks. I have fished inshore and offshore and back country some with friends and some with clients. Luckily my trips have resulted in fish which is the name of the game. The baby Tarpon bite is winding down at Flamingo but it’s always a good way to start the morning. If you have kids on the boat, they just want the rod to bend.
Florida Bay has some good Snook as of this writing and it will stay that way thru the winter. The trout bite is starting to get better as well. There is a mullet run going on out on the Gulf coast and the Tarpon are feasting on them.
There is a nice Mutton bite down south in S. Biscayne Bay find the bait and then find the fish.
